No guagua enters the airport. From Santiago you ride to the Puerto Plata stop (1 h 30 min) and take a taxi or Uber from there to the Gregorio Luperon International Airport terminal. Allow 6 hours between the guagua leaving and your flight time.

When to leave
On top of the guagua time (1 h 30 min), add the transfer to the terminal and check-in. For an international flight, leaving 6 hours before departure leaves room for a late bus without running.

From the airport to the Puerto Plata terminal it is about 20 minutes by taxi. To Cabarete, just under half an hour.
