No guagua enters the airport. From Puerto Plata you ride to the Santo Domingo stop (4 h) and take a taxi or Uber from there to the La Isabela International Airport (Dr. Joaquin Balaguer) terminal. Allow 6 hours between the guagua leaving and your flight time.

When to leave
On top of the guagua time (4 h), add the transfer to the terminal and check-in. For an international flight, leaving 6 hours before departure leaves room for a late bus without running.
